Wolf Cookies

Brad Neely's comic are like The Farside... but better. I've posted before about his video's on Super Deluxe, Baby Cakes (see also: The Professor Brothers). But where hear now to discuss his other brilliant work. At his website Creased Comics (please also check out all the links), he currently has 8 pages of comics all of which i found brilliant. I guess your sense of humor might need to be a little absurd, but man i'm in love with this shit. Brad Neely's has also done a CD which you can play along with the first Harry Potter film, in which he narrates the story. It's entitled "Wizard People, Dear Reader". It's an amazing rendition of the story, and far more entertaining that the real story.

all of sudden...

Lately what's been spinning non stop on the turntable (and the hard drive) has been the new Explosions In The Sky record "All Of A Sudden I Miss Everyone".

NPR says "Explosions in the Sky is a quartet from Austin, TX making what they call "cathartic mini-symphonies." Known for wildly intense live performances, their songs are sprawling, epic pieces that build and evolve, often over a span of ten or more minutes a track. Though decidedly non-commercial, Explosions in the Sky has built a large and loyal following for layering beautifully orchestrated melodies against passionate sonic chaos."
